North Country Cheviot Sheep Society
The North Country Cheviot Sheep Society are delighted to have received notification His Majesty King Charles III will remain a Patron of the breed, this is following a review of over one thousand Patronages of The Late Queen, The former Prince of Wales and The former Duchess of Cornwall and we feel honoured to have been retained by His Majesty.
The Royal Family have a long assocaition with the breed, The late Queen Mother's Longoe flock based at The Castle of Mey, Thurso was first registered in 1960.
Over the years, The Society has been delighted to have hosted His Majesty on stands at events he has been attending and also to a small group of members represented the Society at a Garden Party for the Prince of Wales 70th Birthday in Buckingham Palace in 2018, this was a lovely opportunity to see the vast array of organisations His Majesty is involved with and a real honour.
