Caithness Show & Sale 2022
The Annual Show & Sale of North Country Cheviot Park type rams & females took place on Friday 16th September 2022 at Aberdeen & Northern Marts, Quoybrae, Caithness. This years pre-sale judges for the rams were Mr George Cormack, Damside & Mr Ifan Huw Hughes, Eithinog & for the females & groups Mrs Joanna Gall, Belmaduthy & Miss Ruth Allen, Humbleheugh.
The days champion came from the Bardnaclavan pen of DN Campbell & Sons, Lot 107 Bardnaclavan Cooper sired by Cairnside Action Man, who had already stood champion at the Royal Highland Show, later sold for a new centre record price of £11000 in a two way split to R & N Barclay, Harestone & Stewie Sleigh, Wells.
Reserve Champion was Biggins Classic from James Mackay, sired by Upper Cornquoy Athletic & out of a biggins ewe by Smiddyquoy Ransom.
