The Annual Show & Sale of North Country Cheviots was held on Friday 26th August 2022 at Monmouthshire Livestock Centre.

The Pre-sale show was ably judged by young Derbyshire breeder Jack Webster of Rivendale flock, finding his Park Champion in a shearling ewe brought out by Sam Pedrick, Brimley & later confirming his choice paying the top price of 1150gns (£1207.50) for her. Reserve Champion was a ewe lamb from the relatively newly established Hope flock of Wyn & Siwan Harries who was later sold for 300gns (£315).
The Newly presented Cymraeg Flock Cup from Gareth & Catrin Price for Champion Hill was awarded to Gareth Hughes, Glan-Ithon for his shearling ewe.

Overall the sale achieved a 91% clearance with something for everyone's budget.
91 Park ewes topped at 380gns (£399), 112 Park Shearling ewes topped at 1150gns (£1207.50)  & 44 Park Ewe Lambs topped at 300gns (£315)
Hill Ewes topped at 145gns (£152.25)

A small entry of rams met a very solid trade with 13 selling out of the 14 forward, a Four Shear ram, Soutra Xplosion from C davies, Crughaf sold for the top price of 1500gns (£1575) & Shearling rams from both D Pittendreigh, Coed Y Foel & D Williams, Muddy Plox aceived 600gns (£630) with Hill Rams topping at 400gns(£420)  from G Price, Cymraeg.
