Longtown Ram Sale 2024

A packed ringside at Longtown's North Country Cheviot Tup sale on Monday 30th September lead to a great clearance of tups, both Hill & Park type.

Leading the way at £1900, a shearling from Scott Davies, Synton flock - Synton EyesOnMe sired by Gospelhall Bob sold to Keith Stones, Nun Cote Nook, Marrick. Next in the money was a strong pen from Roderick Runciman & Son, Allanshaws Edward a Sebay Colossus son receuved £1400 heading to Lancashire with MJ Alpe & Sons, New Laund. With four at £1100, Allanshaws Epic by Pengroes Assassin, Allanshaws Eildon and  Allanshaws Excel both by Glebe Farm Class Act and Allanshaws Erotic by Synton BMW and one at £1000 Allansahws Edge again sired by Sebay Colossus, in total 11 avaeraged £922.
George Milne received £1200 for Kinaldy Elpasso a son of Kingside Chianti, he heads to South Cumbria to the Lowery's, Whitbeck, while Hownam Grange Electric sired by Pengroes Bond from W & J Thomson sold fro £1000 to Churchstile Farm, Seascale.

Topping the Hill tups was a two shear from Viney Scott, Priesthaugh Dragon sired by Heatherhope W 14702 realised £700, with Priesthaugh Dynamo, the same way bred received £600. CM Reid, Portmore received the same for Portmore Donkeykong by Raehills Apollo.
