North Country Cheviot Sheep Society
Anglesey Show 2023
A very successful day for both the Park & Hill type North Country Cheviots at Anglesey Show in Wales, with the Park Gimmer going on to take Supreme Champion of Champions & the Hill Group of Three being selcted as the Supreme Interbreed Group of Three. The judge for both Hill & park classes was MId-Wales breeder, Mr Gareth Hughes, Glan-Ithon.
The Gimmer from JH Williams, Pengroes was homebred out of a Pengroes Ewe by Allanshaws Triple20 and sired by Harestones Banjo who was purchased from Lockerbie in 2021 for £1000.
The Hill Champion was again a gimmer, this time from M Williams, Pengroes she was again homebred and sired by Badanloch Battleship.
