Bathed in glorious Scottish sunshine the judging of the North Country Cheviot classes at the Royal Highland Show 2023 took place on Thursday 22nd June, taking the reins in the Park judging was Mr James Mackay, Biggins - a very experianced judge (this being his third time of judging the Highland Show) he wasted no time in finding his Overall Champion from the Hownam Grange pen of Willie & Jim Thomson, Hownam Grange Vicki, a daughter of their show ewe Hownam Grange Victoria, stood Reserve Champion at the Royal Highand & Overall Champion at Great Yorkshire Show in 2022, this year she came back to take the top spot.
