Balmoral Show Results 2024
The 2024 Balmoral Show classes for North Country Cheviots took place on Thursday 16th May in the capable hands of Mr Scott Davies, Synton who had traveled over from Selkirk in the Scottish Borders to judge an excellant show of sheep forward, once again a high numbers of entries (124 entries) for the North Country Cheviot classes kept the judge busy.
It was fantastic to see so many exhibitors, both new and old with sheep forward for the show however there is only one Champion & this year's was a Gimmer from AJ & NA Robinson, Benrafton - a homebred gimmer sired by Wester Certainty who was placed first in a strong class of gimmer.
Reserve Champion was the first place aged ram from Murnion Livestock's Castleview flock, Allanshaws Cobra, a 3 shear ram sired by Gilston Wombat.
