Royal Welsh Show 2025 - Park Results
Judging Results of the Park Classes at This Year's Royal Welsh Show
Judging for the Park classes took place on Tuesday, July 22nd, with the esteemed Orkney breeder, Mr. Alan Smith of the Upper Cornquoy flock, taking charge. Following the event, Alan praised the exceptional quality of sheep presented to him, expressing that he thoroughly enjoyed his day.
Champion and Reserve Winners

Champion: The title was awarded to a three-crop ewe from the BB flock of Ben Baker, which was bred by KO Stones from Nun Cote Nook and purchased at the Lockerbie in-lamb sale in 2023. This impressive ewe is sired by South Lund Vanished.

Reserve Overall Champion: The Reserve Champion was an aged tup brought out by Ifan Huw Hughes, named Sebay Excel. This two-shear tup was purchased from Lockerbie last year for £2,200 and is sired by Bardnaclavan Challenger.

Reserve Female: Awarded to a gimmer from Awen Griffith, Gorslwyd Bach, this Eithinog gimmer is sired by Bardnaclavan Cavalier and was originally purchased as a ewe lamb from the Bryncir Sale.

Reserve Male: The Reserve Male went to a tup lamb from Ffloyd Lewis, Brynowen. This lamb is homebred from the Allanshaws Elite sire, which was purchased for £3,000 from Lockerbie in 2024.
