North Country Cheviot Sheep Society
This year's Hill Section classes were expertly judged by Andrew Elliot of the Balnakeil and Bedshiel flocks.
Making light work of a strong entry, Andrew selected his Overall Champion and Male Champion in the form of the impressive four-shear tup Inkstack Dram, exhibited by J M Elliot, Woodside. Inkstack Dram is sired by North Loch Naver Badass.
The Reserve Male Champion came from the second-placed aged tup exhibited by J Runciman & Sons, Allanshaws. The three-shear tup, Alticane Eurostar, is sired by Portmore Benson.
Claiming the Overall Reserve Champion and Female Champion honours was a superb four-crop homebred ewe from D I Rock, Hethpool, sired by Hethpool Abracadabra.
The Reserve Female Champion ticket went to the second-placed aged ewe from W N Douglas, Whitehope. Another four-crop homebred ewe, she is by Badanaloch Va Va Voom.
Congratulations to all exhibitors on an excellent display of North Country Cheviots at this year's Royal Highland Show.
